KYOCERA SGS Precision Tools introduces the S-Carb H5, a high-performance 5-flute end mill series engineered for high-production machining of aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. Combining advanced flute geometry, integrated chip breakers, central coolant delivery, and Ti-NAMITE-B coating technology, the S-Carb H5 delivers higher material removal rates, excellent surface finishes, and reliable performance across a wide range of machining conditions.

Designed for versatility, the S-Carb H5 excels in high-efficiency milling and finishing applications. Its open flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, while integrated chip breakers shorten chips for improved chip control and increased axial depths of cut. Optimized end geometry improves ramping, stability, chip control, and floor finish, while central coolant delivery further enhances chip evacuation and heat control.

Ti-NAMITE-B PVD coating technology reduces friction, minimizes built-up edge, and extends tool life in aluminum machining applications. Internal evaluations in both 6061 and 7075 aluminum demonstrated excellent floor finishes, supported by optimized end geometry that promotes smooth, stable cutting and can help minimize secondary finishing operations. The series comes equipped with chip breakers and is available in metric and imperial sizes with square and corner radius options.
